Mike Daniels

I am happy to be back for my 15th year at Cherry Coulee. 5 years as a teacher and 10th year as principal.

Naomi Entz

Hello! My name is Naomi Entz. This is my 5th year at CCCA. This year I  have the privilege of teaching grade 4-6 and Jr. High Social Studies. I enjoy sports, hiking, crocheting, and gardening. I have many plants, both at home and in the classroom. I love being at Cherry Coulee Christian Academy. I enjoy working together with parents to encourage and support students as they learn and develop their God-given skills and abilities. Each year is a time full of learning, not only for the students, but for me as well. I'm excited to see what this year holds.

Simon Wipf

I'm very excited to be taking on the Jr. High Math, Science, and Language Arts at Cherry Coulee this year. I graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2022, having focused on English Literature, History, and Religious Studies. Most of my youth work experience has come through Summer Bible Camps where I've cabin led, directed, and preached. In my spare time I like to be reading, writing, or trying to catch up to my breath while playing shinny. I'm looking forward to getting to know all the CCCA students and growing side by side with this community in our knowledge of and obedience to Jesus. See you around!

Barbra Entz

Hi all, my name is Barbra Entz. I'm so excited to be back for another year at Cherry Coulee. This year I am teaching Grades 2-3. This will be my 5th year at Cherry Coulee and I am looking forward to all that God has in store for this year. When I’m not teaching you will probably find me curled up in my favourite chair with a book and a cup of coffee, working on my latest cross-stitch project, playing board games, taking pictures, or hanging out in God's beautiful creation.

Susie Heinrichs

Hi! My name is Susie Heinrichs and I am the Kindergarten/Grade 1 teacher this year. I am also an alumnus of this school. I was born and raised in Bow Island, but have also lived in Mexico, Haiti, and the United States. I earned my degree from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN, with a specialization in Social Studies, and hope to return there soon. My hobbies include volleyball, hiking, and anything involving a beach. I also enjoy exploring new places and seeing how God is at work through the diversity of cultures and people groups throughout the world. My hope is that as people of Light, we learn to grow in the abundance of God’s grace and mercy, and by doing so, live lives filled with hope.

Kate-Anne Akkerman

I’m Kate-Anne Akkerman, and I’ve been living in Bow Island for 2 years now and grew up here in Alberta. I’ve been married for 6 years (to an Ontarian) and have two kiddos aged 4 and 3. I love all things music, whether that be singing or instruments, reading and puzzles, and I also love dogs! My schooling began at the University of Lethbridge, and was finished at Briercrest College and Seminary with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music. Currently, I am in my first year of teaching, and am attending the University of Calgary to complete my Bachelor’s of Education degree.
