RHONDA WEINS - (ECS/Kindergarten)
Hello! My name is Tammy Ross, and I am so excited to be joining Cherry Coulee Christian Academy as the Kindergarten Teacher, Music Teacher, and Jr.High Science Teacher! I grew up knowing that I wanted to be a teacher. I was blessed with an amazing family. My dad is a Pastor, and taught me so much about God and his love. When I graduated high school I went to Horizon Bible College (formerly CPC) and got my Certificate in Christian Studies. When I was 23 I went on a missions trip to Bujumbura, Burundi, Africa for a year to teach Grade 4 in a Private Christian School. This experience grew the passion that God gave me, to be a teacher. When I returned I went to University to get my Education Degree. I received my Bachelor of Education Degree in 2008 from the University of Alberta. After university I taught at Hillmond Central School for a few years in Jr.High School. I took a break from teaching after my second daughter. A couple years ago I began teaching for Medicine Hat Public School Division and taught as a substitute teacher, Early Learning Teacher, and last year I was a Kindergarten PUF teacher. I have been married now for almost 12 years, and have three beautiful daughters who are also coming out to CCCS! I couldn’t be more blessed that God lead me to this wonderful school. A couple verses that I absolutely love and try to live by is from Romans 12:9-10. “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Feel free to stop me any time if you have questions or just want to chat!

Barbra Entz - (Gr 1-3)
Hi all, my name is Barbra Entz. I'm so excited to be back for another year at Cherry Coulee. This year I am teaching grades 1-3. When I'm not teaching you will probably find me curled up in my favourite chair with a book and a cup of coffee, working on my lasted cross-stitch project, playing board games, taking pictures, or hanging out in God's beautiful creation. This is my third year at Cherry Coulee Christian Academy. I graduated from the University of Lethbridge with my Education degree. My primary focus was English Language Arts. I look forward to witnessing God’s hand on the staff and students at Cherry Coulee and learning with and from my students. |
Naomi Entz - (Gr. 4-6)
Hello! My name is Naomi Entz. This is my third year at CCCA. This year I have the privilege of teaching grade 4-6 and a few Jr. High classes. I enjoy sports, I love being outside, I crochet, and recently I have developed an interest in gardening. I love being at Cherry Coulee Christian Academy. I enjoy working together with parents to encourage and support students as they learn and develop their God-given skills and abilities. Each year is a time full of learning, not only for the students, but for me as well. I'm excited to see what this year holds |

Craig Funston - (Homeschool Coordinator)

I have been associated with Cherry Coulee (CCCA) for thirteen years now, having come directly to our school from Abbotsford, BC, in 2002. I have been privileged to teach most subjects from grades 4 to 10, even a couple of subjects in grades ECS-3. Over the past few years years things have settled down for me, and I teach just two days a week. When at CCCA, I spend most of my time teaching Bible and Language Arts, with a little Drama. I appreciate the administration letting me teach in areas where I believe God has given me some ability.
Outside of school I handle all the homeschool responsibilities throughout the province, along with my wife, Gwynne. There has been phenomenal growth in this area over these past twelve years. While we are not sure at this point what our precise numbers will be for this coming year, we're looking at close to 280 children and over 100 families.
In addition to that, we have a little hobby farm in Milk River, where we raise, butcher, and sell chickens, turkeys, and cows. I also share frequently in the preaching duties in my local church, write a regular column in the local paper, and am working with a board of men to develop a portable Bible school--something we have been working at for over seven years.
